The breads are outstanding. Jalapeno cheddar onion. OMG. My new favorite diner.
The breakfast is what you'd expect from a classic America diner, the homemade bread options is what makes this place five stars
Good food but service is typically slow from the grill. Wait staff works hard to accommodate everyone.
Good breakfast spot
Good food, great bread, but slow service. Will go again though.
Food delicious, service good. Plenty of pies, bread at there bakery to go and eat in
Very good food at reasonable prices with very good service. Not a 5 because from order time to serving was slow. Same with two visits two different days. As long as you're not in a hurry it's a great place for a meal.
Staff is always friendly, food is great!
Great place to eat breakfast prices where Fair, the food was great and the waitresses were very friendly the food was good and hot when I got it. I would stop there again, definitely
Excellent food. Friendly staff.
As diners go the menu and atmosphere match a traditional diner. The staff were friendly, easy going and fun.
It was ok.. nice staff
Always good food.
Great place to eat with homemade bread. Stop here every chance I get
Friendly staff and great food
Love this place it's our family go to for breakfast. Fast service and delicious food
Very New England, very "diner." It has your typical diner food, cooked in a familiar diner way. Right from the start, with the "sit where you like" laid back feel, you can feel the history of the American diner everywhere, even in the color scheme of the walls. Friendly staff, all of them. Even other wait staff and cooks said hello and goodbye, all thanking us personal for our visit. Situated on RT.4, you can see how this would have been a magnificent truck stop back in the day. Truckers still pull in and grab a bite (we saw 4 18-wheelers when we were there), but it has more of a family feel to it. I can go on, but I will instead say, if you want a good, sit-down diner, with friendly staff and a good hot meal, try this place out. Fast service, good food. I recommend you go here.
The food was good but the service was slow. I don't know if this is normal for them or we just caught them on a bad day. It appeared as if they were struggling to be both a bakery and a diner. I would recommend them for the food and hope for faster service.
My favorite local place to eat-- a clean, fun atmosphere that transports you back in time to the fifties! The food is always delicious and priced low enough that it is an affordable destination for a weekend family outing. Beware of the Saturday and Sunday mid-morning lines-- everyone who has ever been there loves it and comes back at those times, leading to lines out the door! The wait is worth it. They bake their own breads for the toast and there are many scrumptious flavors including Garlic Cheese Basil and Dutch Apple.
Good ole diner. Comfy and cozy....great food.
Great people and good service. I lived on Denmark Drive for quite some time, ate there alot great food...
Northwood Diner is a classic stop when going from the seacoast towards in interior of the state. Perfect, early morning, pit stop for some coffee, eggs, and bacon. The 50s diner aesthetic is perfectly captures. Be sure to try their home made breads. They're worth the stop on their own.If I had anything negative to say it's that prices used to be more competitive. You can still eat well for less than $10 a person, so take that criticism with a grain of salt.
Causual and cheap great sausage and biscouts
Great people, great food! Very friendly wait staff, and a very charming owner. Food is great, particularly the breakfast options. They make a delicious Texas French Toast, and my family and I always enjoy a visit to this place. There are a few drawbacks, the wait is long at times and the diner itself feels a little dated. The lunch options are also not to great. I am willing to forgive the long wait however if it results in a quality, good-tasting meal, which it usually does. Highly reccomend!
The diner is great! I love their french toast especially with their homemade bread. It's definitely a popular place to go for breakfast, but the staff gets you to a table as quickly as they can. You will usually find the owner floating around checking on all of the customers making sure they are having a nice dining experience or just to say hello.
Always good & reasonable, nice staff great breads & soups. Breakfast all day.
Friendly and caring staff- great comfort style breakfast and lunch. Delicious homeade breads made in house by a great Baker.
Good food fair prices friendly service agreat place to stop breakfast or lunch
The food was good but super expensive! Usually when you get sausage INSTEAD of ham you don't get charged for BOTH! Cost $30 for 2 people. Good for one time, next time going to go over to Red Arrow. Better food for less $
We love it. Great service, amazing food. And you can grab a loaf of your favorite bread to go!!
The Blueberry pancakes are to die for! and so are the homemade hash browns!
Very nice staff!! Nice environment, everyone was pleasant, lots of locals.
Ordered a swiss & mushroom burger rare & crispy fries. The burger was over done & the fries were soggy. The oil needed to be changed in order to get crispy fries, fries were dark but some were under cooked & tasted bland.
Food is great everytime and the price is excellent
Good food, great service!!
Great staff and good food
Excellent food and service
Food is always good. Coffee always tasteless
Nice people. Good food. Reasonable prices. Nothing too fancy but always good.
Homemade bread is great, to eat during meal or purchase loaf to go. Menu-see pics. Always; good food, good service and short wait. They have tables and high top bar setup for dining in.
Good food,fast and freindly service
Never had a bad meal in this diner.
Always excellent service and most delicious food!
Excellent diner!! The place was crowded and friendly staff were very efficient. Perfect over-easy eggs, 5 slices of bacon and paid extra for delicious homemade raisin bread toast. Wish they were in my hometown!!!
Real home town diner. Tiny. The staff was so amazingly friendly at 7:30 in the morning. Food was great but took quite a while to come out. Owner walked around and chatted with us and other guests. It's no wonder this place was PACKED on a Sunday morning (@ 7:30 am)
This restaurant gives superb service as well as delightful meals. One of the best spot around here. The food served rapidly and the prices are affordable. Highly recommended.
The food was fantastic and the service
They have AMAZING homemade food for super cheap, and the people are really friendly.
